Dear Richard:

I was saddened to learn of the death of your mother.

Mary Kay will be remembered as a legendary figure in the business history of our state and nation. Her remarkable success story has been an inspiration, especially to women, throughout the world. She leaves a great legacy of generosity to our community, and she will be greatly missed.

Please know that I join you in the sorrow you feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
